A crispy and succulent truffle burger doesn't have to just come from a restaurant! Follow our recipe to easily make your own yummy truffle burger at home!

Makes 4 burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • Truffle Sea Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of american or cheddar cheese (preferably thick slices)
  • 1 large tomato sliced into 8-10 rings
  • 1/2 a bunch of green leaf lettuce
  • 1/2 of a medium red onion thinly sliced into rings
  • 1/2 a cup dill pickle slices (optional)
  • Approximately 2 tablespoons of White Tartufata Truffle Sauce (for a stronger truffle flavor) or Black Tartufata Truffle Sauce (a more mild truffle flavor) 1/2 tablespoon of sauce per burger.

  1. Prepare by slicing all of your burger toppings.
  2. Spread softened or melted butter on the insides of the hamburger buns and toast them on a skillet or grill until they turn golden brown. You can toast the bun ahead of time or within the last few minutes while the burgers are still on the grill.  Toasting the bun adds added flavor and prevents them from turning soggy.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat. Section the ground beef into 4 equal-sized portions and mold them into patties that are about 1/2" thick and 1" wider than the burger buns. Season the patties generously with Truffle Sea Salt and ground pepper.

  4. Grill the burger patties while covered for about 3-5 min on each side on the grill. Flip the burgers when the juices are begin rising to the top of the burger. Add in the cheese in the last 1-2 minutes of grilling and then cover with a lid and cook until internal temperature of beef reaches 160˚F.
  5. Remove burgers from grill and put on the bun, spread evenly the Tartufata Truffle Sauce and top with additional toppings and top bun.
  6. Serve with a delicious side of our Truffle French Fries and enjoy!
